Kongesteinen - Jan M Lillebø / Bergens Tidende

According to legend, King Olav Tryggvason stood on a large rock when he spoke and preached the new faith to the people assembled at Moster. It may well have been the large rock by Moster Amfi, which the locals have long referred to as “The King’s Rock”. In recent times, three names have been inscribed into the rock: Kong Olav V in 1979, with King Harald V and Queen Sonja adding theirs in 1991.
